Children's Ministry
At Grand River Community Church we think kids are pretty awesome! That is why we make sure they receive good, sound teaching of God’s truths on their own level of learning.
We are very intentional about including the kids in adult worship, but also very sensitive to the fact that they learn better in their own space with age-appropriate teaching and activities.
So, rather than have them sit in adult-church for the entire time, the kids are dismissed after a short time of worship and song. They go to our designated ‘kid zone’ where they will have a themed lesson, prayer time, craft time, goofy games, and learn a bible verse.
We strive to make learning about God and Jesus fun! We want the kids to have a positive, affirming experience at church, as they experience love, respect and are truly listened to. We have created a safe place where they can learn, question and grow.
Kids have a great capacity for spiritual understanding and growth, and we strive here at GRCC to create time and space each Sunday for kids to read God’s word, pray, worship, connect with each other all while being shown how truly special they are.
