Frequently Asked Questions

Why go to church and who are welcomed? We believe God created us for relationship—with Him and with one another. Church is one of the places where we worship, learn from Scripture, pray, encourage each other, and make room for God to shape our lives. It’s not about having everything together—it’s about taking the next step toward Jesus in community. Who is welcome? You are welcome here. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church after a difficult experience, bringing questions, or simply looking for a place to belong, we’d love to welcome you. Come as you are—we’re all learning to follow Jesus together.

What should I wear and bring? There’s no dress code here. Some people dress casually, others a little more traditionally—but no one is keeping score. Come in what feels comfortable. If you have a Bible, you’re welcome to bring it, but if not, that’s completely okay.

What happens on Sunday mornings? Our Sunday mornings are centered around worshipping God, learning from Scripture, and growing together in faith. A typical service includes music, prayer, Bible teaching, and space for discussion and reflection. Our services are relaxed, welcoming, and usually last about 75 minutes. Coffee and treats are available before the service, and there’s never pressure to participate before you’re ready.

Do I have to sing along? Not at all. Our worship time is an opportunity to engage with God in whatever way feels comfortable to you. Some people sing, some quietly reflect, some simply listen. There’s no pressure to participate in any particular way.

Do my kids have to go to a separate room? No. While we have a wonderful kids ministry, we understand that your first visit may feel more comfortable if your children stay with you. We have a family-friendly space at the back of the sanctuary where kids can quietly play with toys, color, or stay close while you participate in the service.

How do you keep children safe? Your family’s safety matters to us. We’ve taken practical steps to help create a safe environment for children and families, including clear volunteer oversight, security cameras in key areas, and trusted team members who help keep an eye on things during our gatherings. If you have specific questions or concerns, we’d be happy to talk with you.
