Below are some FAQ's about what you can expect at GRCC. We want to make you feel at home with us. When you fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page then you will receive a personal follow up from Pastor Shawna and have someone waiting to personally greet you when you visit.

Why should we go to Sunday morning services?

There are many good reasons for believers to get involved in a local church, as this video explains. However, what if you're not sure about Christianity? Are there still good reasons to go to church? Would a non-Christian even be welcomed at our church?
The answers are YES and YES! We welcome anyone curious about Jesus and Christianity to join us on Sunday morning! This gives us a chance to answer any questions you might have and to demonstrate for you what being a Christian means. More importantly, you will find a place where you are loved and told the truth about how much God loves you!

What are your services like and how long do they last?

When you arrive at GRCC you will be greeted at the front door by one of our hospitality team members and, if it's your first visit, we will offer to show you around the church. We offer coffee and treats before service and many of our family members come 10-15 minutes early just to hang out in the lobby.

We start at 10:30 a.m. with a opening song and then one of our service hosts will read a Scripture and pray over the kids as they go to their worship time. We then will have 2-3 more worship songs, announcements, and a message. Once a month we share the Lord's Supper with each other.

Our messages are very discussion oriented and you should feel free to share any insights or questions you have when given the opportunity. Typically we are finish around 11:30-11:45 with a time of praying for people.

What should I wear and should I bring anything?

You should dress however you are most comfortable. At GRCC this often means jeans and a t-shirt. However, if you like to dress up for church that's ok too. The bottom line is that you will not be judged on your appearance.
We encourage you to bring a Bible to church and maybe even a notebook so that you can get the most out of the learning experience. Many people use their smartphones or tablets to access a Bible - that is great! If you don't have a Bible and want one, we have Bibles you can have in a translation that is easy to understand.
Finally, we hope you will feel good about bringing your family and friends to GRCC too! We work hard at providing a great worship and learning experience for every age group!
